Introducing Hanna! We are dog sitting for a week for our Pastor and his wife as they cruise the Alaskan waters.
She is a very sweet dog and we love having her at our home.
The only problem...We keep calling her Abbey! Oh how we miss our dear sweet Abbey.

My parents just lost their dear, sweet yellow lab of 12 years. She had bone cancer... Anyway, they decided that they needed to get another dog right away. Instead of getting a puppy, they went to the Lab Rescue and got a 2-1/2 year old yellow lab. They love her already. Maybe there's one near you that you can check out???
So sorry to hear about your parents'dog. I feel their sadness and heard their dog was a real sweetie!
Yes, we know about Lab Rescue. My brother (who works at Guide Dogs in Sylmar and got us Abbey) adopted a dog from Lab rescue. His "Lakoda" has some separation anxiety issues, but for the most part is a loving dog!
